Food & supplies going up....Congress going down.

If you think it's bad now! Wait till this time next year rolls around and 2014 will be the year, the year the shoe salesmen will be sent home. Mom & pops around the US will be forced to raise their prices to cover their losses. The average Mom & Pop will pay out more in taxes and fines than they bring in as profit. Many will simply shut down and join the line. Why should I care? I have a job, so what? Well you should care, because each and everytime you open your pocket book, you will be paying an average of 10% more for the same item we currently OVERPAY for. Unemployment will soar. Food stamp lines will grow.
Many will starve rather than join that line. The last 10 years have seen elderly citizens going without, going without food, going without medicine, going without heat, dying in the heat. And now they are looking at skyrocketing fees going up for their healthcare. If this is not a picture of a collapsing economy, I do not know what is. Our dollar is currently worth nothing. I look back at my good years, and those years were during a republican congress. Didn't matter who the president was.
If we want to change our economy we need to change our congress. We need to get off the gimmy horse and go after the crooks who are overcharging us in the first place.
Health care got so expensive that many good people thought the public option was their only choice, and they voted for that choice. It became too hard to go after the evil that jacked up the price in the first place and became easier to hope the government would pay your simple doctor bill. The doctor bill that will shut down mom & pop. Our own town is jacking up all our fees, new schools (18 million dollars for 347 students), new wastewater treatment (should have only been one new wastewater treatment plant in my lifetime, not 2 in the last 20 years!) new landfill cells at a cost of (in my dr evil voice) 1 million dollars. Streets in need of repairs and City utilities going through the roof. New fleets of vehicles for all city departments. and yet the dreamers bash me because I say enough already, they want to keep spending. They want more bulb outs, they want paths, they want it all. And now they want our city manager Gary P. to get a raise.......? Oh Lawdy, what's we's gonna do, poor Gary needs a raise. What's the matter? Can't pay your water bill? Really? Really? .... Vote republican this Nov.

Yea, I said it.

  1. I have to agree 100% with you on this blog. And Mr. Person does not need a raise. If the old lady in the glass house thinks that he needs one, then let her pay for it, and if she is so concerned with the city council....why isn't she running for city council. I think she is nothing but a mouth piece....and she needs to get a life.

  2. Well Kel, beings how I'm the resident commie, I would say the opposite and say vote Democrat this fall!! But you see thats what they want, they want us at each others throats so they can unleash their global Builderberg evil plans(i.e. busting America to a 3rd world nation to take what little money the people have left).
We simply need to direct national policy away from spoon feeding the top 2% and toward the other 98% of us. But Republicans and Democrats alike are bought and sold like any other commodity. We will find our way back to freedom and justice for all, not just the top 2%. But only if we come together, but you are right that we must kill the monster on a local level before we can take it on at the national level. It's a hearts and minds situation, we need to be able to kick it with our own local neighbors before we can kick it with national neighbors. And boy are we at a stale mate, we can't even agree on how to bring business in, some say spend spend spend on ammenities because business won't come without them and some say the only way to attract business is to prove we are fiscally responsible, because who wants to invest in a bankrupt town? So a stale mate is our current situation, locally and nationally and the people are truly hurting. I have all the faith in the world that eventually the American people will see that and come together under Gods grace and flourish again. Because underneath it all I believe that God is the true architect of America, He had a definate hand in its creation to show the world that people can live together in peace and harmony, have we strayed from his intent, yes, can we regroup? Oh hell yeah, nothing we can't do. So don't despair, have hope, sometimes we forget and we need reminded that we all have something to offer and we are all worth it, Like the Loreal commercials "I'm American because I'm worth it"
    Right? Right.
