Her Royal Highness is Spot On!
A citizen going by the name of Her Royal Highness posted a comment on Tim Hackleman's blog site and she is SPOT ON! I hope they take her serious because I think she's on to something. I did the North Ward shuffle for 6 years and I know exactly what she means. Excellent idea! Snaps to Her Royal Highness!

Just a question that has plagued me for 2 years now and Husker4Ever's comments resurrected the question.
In driving my son to school at North Elementary, the stop lights (at 13th and Illinois) are horrible. I know that your wife can attest to it. I also know that widening the intersection would be near impossible. Has it ever crossed anyone's mind to change the timing on the lights? Perhaps a cheaper answer (instead of a major construction overhaul) would be to time the lights so that one direction goes at a time and putting in a few more turning signals therefore eliminating all the congestion for the turning lanes.
I'm just wondering if this small thing (but it's pretty major to me as I'll be making the trip for the next 6 years, easy) would be something you would address. I know it would make my morning commute much easier.
